Due to technical issues, we are not encourage customers to using postage method just to send you the wallpaper rolls and install by yourself. Installation of wallpapers is required a lot of experience that to identify how to dodge those switches and the vertical of the wall. We also need experience that do not overlap both side of wallpaper on each other or too separate with each other. Hench, the materials and tools of pasting wallpaper are hardly to find unless you may can found in hardware stores.

Postage services will be used only when supplier form, to supply for business purposes only. 

this will be difficult if you pasting it alone especially the corner.

Step 1) Choosing your Wallpapers

Step 2) Know the size of your wall

Before paste the wallpaper on your wall, we have to know the size of your walls first, to calculate the amount of rolls that we need for your walls. Wall measurement have shown as below.

Step 3) Detail Progress discussion

We have to discuss the progress with customer about the day of installation. Me and Couch Potato director will be there and make sure the installation must be fine.

Step 4) Payment

Payment have to made once the installation is finish, customers can pay by cash on the sport, cheque or bank in to Couch Potato account.

Step 1 Measure the length and height of the window

i) we need to know the length to measure the total length of cloth that needed ( price is depends on the style of design, the rod of installation and length of cloths, 

ii) height, two type of height of curtain. 60 inch and 120 inch. We will using 120 inch cloths when your height of window is more then 60 inch, since it not necessary to join cloth by using 60 inch.

1) The paper facing on my drywall tore when removed the old wallpaper, what can we do?


Wallpaper removal normally will damage the wall while removing the wallpaper, you are often necessary to repair wall before paste a new wallpaper. you can ask your retailer to recommend a primer formulated for repairing dry wall.


2) What are pattern match?


  I) Random Match-- type of wallpaper that is easiest you work with, you can hung all strips of wallpaper together without worry the pattern match up.

  II) A Straight Match---Match the pattern from left to right, it is easy to deal with by paste on according the pattern itself.

  III) A Drop Match-- Has a design that match up across strips both vertically and horizontally. There are multiple of drop match ( most are half-drop or a quarter drop ). Its mean that pattern will match up with different spot in the design for next strips. Drop match and straight match will cause some extra waste because have to remove the exceed from top.

3) Wallpaper seams are showing, or have separate, or like to avoid any wallpaper seams issues?

Creating a smooth and seamless wall of wallpaper is the goal. If grasscloth wallpaper is selected, the seam are going to show because it is one of the part of beauty of natural since it is made of all natural grasses like bamboo, jute, and sea grass.

Hence, no absolutely perfect match between wallpaper, and we also have to take into account when choosing wallpapers.

2) What are single rolls, double rolls and bolts?


Wallpaper's price normally charge by singer rolls, but sold by double rolls or bolts increments ( double rolls and bolts are interchangeable) 




3) Why having trouble to remove wallpaper from wall?


Not all paper are easy to remove from wallpaper. The adhesive behind the wallpaper is formulated to release when wet. We have to get the wallpaper's backing wet enough. Using a wallpaper perforation tool, and need the enough time for wallpaper removal solution to loosen the paste, it is help to make the process more easier.



4) Do i need to rent a steamer to remove old wallapers?


Steamer is rarely necessary to use for that. A good wallpaper removal solution and a wallpaper perforation tool should done the whole progress. 




5) Can i put on a new wallpaper over an existing wallpaper?


This is not recommended. The tension exerted by the new layer on the old can cause the original bond to fail and the paper could come off the wall or bubble dramatically.

After we know how to clean dust from those wallpaper according types of them, now we have some guide to clean stain, marks, dirt spot and etc.


1) Stain and Marks


Stains and marks have to clean as soon as possible to prevent them stick at the wall forever, and wallpaper may damaged by permanent discoloration. If we facing those stains which difficult to clean with, strong detergent are recommended used to clean them. First you have to start it from some inconspicuous place before the whole whole walls.Rinse carefully with a clean sponge after detergent.


2) Dirt Spot


I) Dirt spot can removed with mild soap and warm water.

II) Rinse completely with clean water.

III) Dry up wallpaper with a soft towel.




3) Crayon, Felt Pen, Lipsticks and ballpoint pen's marks

Here is a traditional method to clean crayon, felt pen, lipsticks and ballpoint pen's marks;

i) lightly spray the mark with aesoral hairspray, wipe it gently with soft toothbrush.

II) Rinse with clean warm water ( dont over wet), dry with soft cloths.



* Avoid abrasive cleaning

* Do not use steel wool or powdered cleaners, or active solvent-type preparations such as nail polish remover, tar and bug remover. All above will damage the wallpaper.

Fast Guide of Taking Care Wallpaper

Taking care of wallpaper are much more difficult than just paste a new wallpaper on the walls since we have to take care a lot detail to not make wallpapers get dirty. We may place our home decoration those may hit our walls directly and accidentally. So, to place those objects to the side of the wall, we have to put it slowly and try to not touch the wallpapers.


Different instruction are provided depend on different types of wallpaper that we have, either ' Washable', ' Scrubbable', Delicate'. 



1) Washable

First we have to use sponge to remove dust, hence wash the wall using warm water ( dont wash with too much of water, wallpaper will get wet and start tearing ), soap and a soft sponge, finally using dry cloths to clean the wallpapers. 




2) Scrubbable wallpapers

Use sponge or dry cloths to remove dust, wash the soft brush to clean the wallpaper with warm water and soap. As usual, dont put too much of water on wallpaper.




3) Delicate Wallpaper

We have to take this type of wallpaper carefully because its easily to break down. We only have to clean if necessary with dry cleaning eraser. First you have to test on a small portion of the wallpaper which inconspicuous pieces.
